BioHi. I'm Pete. I'm a rat terrier living in Weiner, Arkansas, on a farm with the rest of my pack. There are a lot of us, though several of us live in different houses. I live with Bryan, a nice, warm guy who lets me sit on the recliner with him, and Hillary, who is always on the couch, putting these strings together with two sticks. The piles of strings are nice to sit on. They're both pushovers; one good look from me and that roast beef is in my dish.
I've got a whole pack of best friends: Sam, another rat terrier; Angel the Yorkie; Khaki the Weimeraner; Lucy the Great Dane; Cricket the Italian Greyhound; Runt the Mutt; Ozzie the Rottweiler; Gus the Boxer; and Dakota the Siberian husky. There are also other...animals...here. There are two crawling rocks that Hillary & Bryan keep in a glass box. They call them "Fred" & "George" and sometimes "the tortoises". Then there are two really, really brightly colored flying rats...I mean birds...that Hillary's mom keeps. They're loud, mean, like no one but Hillary's mom, and, well, even though the humans can't understand them, those things have foul mouths.
My hobbies. Well, truth be told, I don't have much time for hobbies. Living out on a farm, there's so much that needs to be done. I have to jump in puddles, defend the yard from evil, chase the squirrels & rabbits, bark at the cars that pass every so often and the people in them--you get the idea. I do kinda like to chase things my people throw, though. I also like a good rawhide bone and a nap on the couch.
It might be easier to list what I WON'T eat than list my favorites. I am really partial to lunch meat, but I won't eat cauliflower, bananas, or uncooked broccoli, and I won't drink coffee or carbonated sodas. My dream meal is a whole stack of bologna with a nice bowl of raspberry lemonade.
I'm not too big on new friends in real life, though I tend to warm up after a while. Online, however, hey! You're not threatening the yard, and if I don't see ya, I don't have to bark at ya. Friend away!
